Mostra del Vitellone is the annual trade show dedicated to the Chianina cattle breed. Farmers from the whole Valdichiana area showcase their animals and compete to win the title for the most "perfect" cow. It takes place in Camucia.

Wax offer, historical reenactment.  In the evocative setting of the main square at night, a group of nobles representing the five quarters bring crude wax and the produce of their land as an offer to Saint Margaret. The wax is melt on a fire and then used to cast the candles that will be offered to Saint Margaret on the following day, when everybody will form a procession to Santa Margherita Church. 

The event starts with a costume parade along the main streets of Cortona, with shrilling trumpets and a drums. All the five neighbourhoods gather in the square, bringing flowers and homages for Saint Margaret. After a flagflyers show, the Bishop blesses the candles that will be offered to the Saint in front of a small group of representatives for each quarter. The parade then will form a procession and walk to the Sanctuary of Santa Margherita, accompanied by musicians, flagflyers…

A traditional medieval market in Cortona organized as part of the Archiadado celebrations. At the market in piazza Signorelli you can buy and taste food from the tradition, purchase artifacts and souvenirs such as baskets, copperware, pottery in the old style. Everyone is dressed in Medieval clothes and their stalls recall old trades and flavors.

The flagflyers and musicians of Cortona perform an amazing flag-flying show in the rhythm of medieval music. Trumpets and drums are being played while the square is coloured by flags spinning in the air, waving and swishing between the experienced hands of flagflyers. The event is part of the annual Archidado celebrations.
