Sagra della Bistecca

The “Sagra della Bistecca” (T-bone Steak Festival) is one of the most “traditional” events in Cortona, very popular among locals. It takes place every year around the 14-15-16th of August in the Parterre public gardens. Succulent T-bone steaks of Chianina meat are cooked on a giant grill (14-square-meters), following the old Tuscan tradition. It is organized by the local football team association, Cortona Camucia.
